Streaming Webcams

There are a large number of webcam sites on the internet that take shots of areas of towns and cities at timed intervals. There is also, however, cameras set up to constantly film and stream back what is going on in a place at any time.

Many of these can be found on CamVista a website "watching the world by webcam". And whilst it is somewhat comforting to view your home city whilst away (the user comments reflect this), there is something alarming about being able to watch the comings and goings in a bar for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Of course, we were trying to achieve a similar thing in our own projects but these webcams take the idea of filming a location to a much larger scale.
