Microsoft Photosynth

The Inaugural Stands as seen on Photosynth

Not wanting to be left out of the Google Street phenomenon, Microsoft, in partnership with the University of Washington have come up with Photosynth which allows internet users to share their photos of tourist areas, or places close to their heart with other users, allowing them to fully explore the area. People who can't afford to visit Qin Shi Huang's Terracotta warriors can now get a fairly comprehensive experience from their home computers. Further evidence of the world getting smaller and smaller as a result of advances in technology.

Indeed the site has a fair number of entries for Aberdeen including our very own Elphinstone Hall.
