I have also found an enlightening interview from 2001 with the then Director of Privacy International; Simon Davies. Their website can be found here and they are doing some great work in raising awareness of the issues of surveillance culture and erosion of civil liberties. The site is definitely worth a visit if you seek more information about ID Cards or the Anti-Terror Laws.
