About the Project

For the practical element of our course, Dr. Marcus asked us to find a spot in Aberdeen and film it from eight different perspectives. We were split into groups of three and asked to pool this footage to use in editing together a 30 minute (Made up of 30 one minute clips) panoptic view of Aberdeen, taking in each of our perspectives.

Our panoptic view of Aberdeen took in the AECC, Union Terrace Gardens, The University Quadrangle, Belmont Street and the Cowdray Hall on Schoolhill.

The films below are two 8 minute films constructed from my own footage of the Aberdeen Exhibition Centre. Also included are some 1 minute pieces of footage taken on my own digital camera.
